Narsai David began his restaurant career in 1959 at Potluck in Berkeley before launching his own critically-acclaimed restaurant and catering business, Narsai’s, in Kensington in 1970.During the restaurant’s 16-year history, The New York Times would describe Narsai’s as having “one of the 10 finest wine lists in the world.”
Today, Mr. David divides his time among his catering business, Narsai’s Specialty Foods, KCBS radio in San Francisco where he is wine and food editor, and numerous community service activities. As an author, Mr. David was a columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle for more than 10 years and has written three critically acclaimed cookbooks.
