Pittsburg High School – 1999 Winner
Mr. Hanel is an advisor for student organization, he formed Club POWER (Protecting Our Wildlife, Environment, and Resources) which encourages students not only to learn and work for the environment, but also takes them outdoors giving them first hand experience in nature and personalizing their commitment to preserving the environment. He has spent several Saturdays with the club beautifying the campus and landscaping the school.
