Hercules Middle/High School – 2009 Winner
Janet holds profound seminars on key issues that happen in our world today and trains freshmen to do the same. Students are then able to pick a seminar subject of their own and have a Socratic dialogue with their class. Many of her clubs, such as Amnesty International and Spread the Love, resulted from students’ compulsion to change their communities as well as the world at large after having experienced her seminar.
